Rippinvale Retreat | Hanmer Springs
Rippinvale Retreat offers a very special New Zealand experience representing luxury eco-lodge accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere.
Sustainable environmental practice is a corner stone philosophy at Rippinvale Retreat - from the food they serve, to the eco-systems they create within their garden, to the products they source for their business, owners John and Helen support their environment in every way they can.
Built of adobe mud blocks to blend in with the natural alpine landscape, a tranquil, park-like garden is the setting for this luxury eco-lodge property. Spectacular alpine views, sweeping lawns, pretty borders, lily pond, kitchen garden and orchard make Rippinvale a perfect place relax, unwind and experience generous New Zealand hospitality.
The grounds feature an outdoor alpine jacuzzi, a traditional grass tennis court and petanque pit whilst mature trees create shady corners where you can tuck yourself away with a book.
A highlight of your stay will be their fabulous breakfast feasts. Much of the food served at Rippinvale Retreat is grown in the gardens or sourced locally, and their wines are from the famous Marlborough and Waipara regions nearby.
Adjacent to the Hanmer Springs golf course, Rippinvale is just a 2 minute drive and easy flat walk to the iconic thermal pools and village centre with its and restaurants and shopping.
