Trees for Travellers allow us to buy native New Zealand trees which are then planted on reserve land in Kaikoura. The native New Zealand trees consist of species such as AkeAke, Cabbage Tree, Ngaio, Totara, Rimu and Mountain Beech.

Incorporated into all the Sensible Itineraries offered on this website, or tailor-made itineraries created, the carbon footprint of the itinerary resulting from your international flight, your New Zealand-specific internal flights, your vehicle usage, accommodation and recreational activities will be offset by the purchase of the requisite number of trees to offset those emissions.
