The key to maintaining the integrity of the group is its independent administration by an entity with no proprietary interest in any of the lodgings.

The entity administering the group is Elixir New Zealand, a New Zealand-based inbound travel company asked by the group's founding members to develop the concept, administer the group's membership and website, manage enquiries, and tailor-make itineraries.

As an entity with no proprietary interest in any of the lodgings, Elixir New Zealand therefore provides an unbiased assessment of accommodation standards and hosting quality. It also provides an exceptionally high standard of customer service in both managing enquiries and providing support for clients whilst on the ground in New Zealand.

> Strike and You’re Out Policy

The group has a stringent “strike and you’re out” policy. Dependent upon the facts of the case and upon hearing both sides of the story, if the independent group administrator receives poor feedback from guests on a particular lodging that warrants dismissal, then that lodging’s membership will not be renewed – we aim for 100% satisfied feedback from guests!
